July 18, 1937 - Aviation Festival. Sparnota Latvija journal claims that this was the first aviation performance to be
held in Skrunda and the first time an aircraft had ever landed in Skrunda. Some sort of an aviation event was held in
1936, however, so this may be in error.
Note: Latvijas Kareivis describes the venue as "Skrundas aerodrome", near the Kaupinu property.
