• Learned to fly in Czarist Russia and, during the Russian Civil War, he flew for the White Russians.
• 1920 - joins the Latvian military, aviation section. Immediately put to work flying the early Latvian aircraft.
• November 3, 1920 - flies a Sopwith Camel from Spilve to Petersfelde aerodrome in order to evaluate the airfields suitability for service.
• November 6, 1920 - returns, with the Camel, to Spilve.
• November 18, 1920 - flies over Dobele in a ceremony celebrating Latvian Independence Day.
• 1920 - Rank: Lieutenant
• March 10, 1921 - Member of the 1st Squadron.
• July 7, 1921 - crashed Sopwith Camel (#18) when, after takeoff, a wheel fell off. A crash upon landing was inevitable.
• August 7, 1921 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Riga/Spilve.
• 1920 - Rank: 1st Lieutenant
• March 22 - April 4, 1922 - participates in the aerial re-supply of German ships frozen in the ice in the Bay of Riga.
• 1923 - one of only four Aviation Regiment pilots initially considered qualified to fly the new Ansaldo Balillas.
• October 11, 1923 - Member of the 1st Squadron.
• June 15, 1924 - flying Sopwith Camel #18 he participates in the Aviation Festival at Riga/Spilve.
• May 17, 1926 - dies, in Latvia.
