The celebration began with a parading of the troops at the airport. The members of the Regiment
lined up for parade were inspected by Cabinet minister A.Berzins, General Kurelis, Col.Praulis and Col.J.Indans.
Inspection was followed by speeches from the dignitaries, and greetings were read out from those not present.
A brief parade of aircraft followed, after which the regiment reassembled at St.Martin's church. After the
service they went to the Bralu Kapi to lay wreaths.
The day's activities ended with a Regiment dinner.
