- This was the first time that aircraft had visited this particular town. The spectators
examined the aircraft in great detail.
- The program opened with the arrival of a glider (flown by E.Sraders) being towed by a military aircraft (J.Abolins).
- After a few speeches, the event closed with aerobatic displays, flown by J.Abolins.
- Approximately 1500 spectators attended the event.
