- The event was jointly arranged by the Skrunda chapter of the Latvian Aero Club, Skrunda's Aizsargi and the local regional council.
Participating were Aero Club members and aviators from the Liepaja Squadron.
- Before the aviation displays, Skrunda's new glider "Banga" was christened.
- The weather was good, with over 4000 spectators attending the event.
