Details:
- Bauska's 2nd Aviation Festival, organized by the Bauska chapter of the Latvian Aero Club.
- The Festival opened with the christening of the newly-built hangar and a speech by J.Indans.
- The program featured the usual demonstrations by military and civilian aircraft, with parachute
sweets for the children at the end.
- In spite of poor weather, about 5000 spectators attended the event.
- The program was followed by a Festival Ball at the Bauska castle.
- The profits from the day's activities will be used to improve drainage at the aerodrome and
to expand the hangar.
